Stuck on Music

I was catching up on comments on Sarah's blog and she's got Jeremy Camp's Video looped and found myself singing along. What a great song! I love the chorus. What's more remarkable is Jeremy's story. I'd never seen or heard of him before last December when he opened for Mercy Me. Before he sang that song, he told his story.

He met the woman of his dreams and shortly thereafter found out she was terminally ill. Despite knowing she would die within months, he still married her. He thought it to be the right thing to do. The pain of losing someone he loved so much inspired him to write that song. He knew that no matter how much pain someone suffers, or if their "fight" is near the end, God still loves them. If you're down on yourself or life in general, know that God is near. Take comfort in knowing he will NEVER give up on you.
