Questions to Ponder

I was at Pizza Hut with Sarah the other night after we watched Lord of War and found some interesting questions on a place mat. Thought it would be cool to see everyone's answers.

1. What if you could have a wild animal for a pet: What would it be and why?
2. What if...you had a million $$; how would you spend it?
3. What if you were President for one day; what would you do?
4. What if you had a genie that granted one wish per day; how would you use them?
5. What if you could travel back in time; when and where would you go?
6. What if you were stranded on an island with one possession; what would it be and why?

1. Siberian Tigers to be companions to our Siberian Huskies

2. I would give 1/2 to ministries of my choice - Campus Crusades & Habitat for Humanity. 25% would go to my family, and we would invest the other 25%

3. If I were president for one day I would put prayer back in schools.

4. This one is tricky - 1 per day for 1 year or 1 per day for the rest of my life?

5. If I could travel back in time I would go back to visit Moses.

6. If I were stranded on and island with one possession it would be YOU. For this question I will consider you a possession. Why - because I love you and don't want to be without you for even one day.

1. A Wolf because they are so much like Huskies.
2. 3/4 to Missionaries to other countries and the rest to my family.
3. If I were President for one day I would allow without protest the 10 Commandment to be posted again in schools.
4. I would wish for an extra wish every day.
5. I would travel back to visit Jesus.
6. If I were stranded on an island I would want my bible.

Sarah says to answer your questions. So, here goes:

1. A black panther. Because those cats just look COOL!

2. Well, I'd like to say that I'd donate to this and to that.... But, if I'm going to be truthful, I have to say that I'd spend; spend; spend! Erm... I'd still donate some... maybe.

3. I would declare that the U.S. was once again an expansionist society. That way, we could just go in and take over countries like Iraq and Afghanistan... oh... and, Canada... we should have taken that one in the beginning.

4. Day One: No more atheists, agnostics, pantheists, or deists. In fact, no more anything but accepting the one true God. Day Two: Everyone becomes a Conservative. Day Three: I become Queen of the World.... hehehehe... Is that going overboard? Hmmmmm....

5. This one is easy; I've talked about this often. I would go back to August 1869 - Leaksville (now Eden), North Carolina. I'd love to meet my great-great-grandparents. I'd have SO many questions for them. My great-great-grandfather died from a stroke in August 1870.

6. Assuming that the island had sources of food and fresh water, I suppose that all I'd need to survive is a library-like collection of books.

Jason, I think you have heard one to many games announce by Dick Vitale with all that "Baby" stuff. LOL.

grandma, banning congress to a remote island sounds like a sweet idea, I think Teddy Kennedy might eat everyone though.

1. I think I would like to have a Gorrila because they are just so awesome and powerful and they can be taught!

2. If I had a million dollars I would invest the majority of it so that I would never have to work again...and of course I would by my daughter and me lots of great shoes!

3. If I were president for one day I would appoint a judge to the supreme court that is a conservative right wing fanatic like Roberts.

4. One wish per day? That is a TON of wishes. I suppose I would begin by making a wish that my one wish a day would never end.

5. I would like to go to Vienna during the time of Beethoven.

6. One possession? A computer with wireless broadband so that I could get a ride out of there!

Jason, I hope you're joking about the virgins. I am so disappointed! *sigh*

Okay, interesting questions, Sarah's husband! :)

1. I think if I could make them tame enough to pet AND someone else would clean up after them, I would get a lion, just like in the Chronicles of Narnia.

2. If I had a million dollars, I would move into a new house, hire a maid, and spend more time with my children! Maybe I would even go to a gourmet culinary arts school overseas.

3. If I were president for a day, I would .. what control does a president have ...? Let's go to question 4.

4. I would wish for my children to be healthy, well-balanced, and godly.

5. If I could travel back in time, I would go back and meet Jesus. Hopefully, He wouldn't go too hard on me!

6. If I were stranded on an island, I would bring a satelite phone (I'm with Nichole, I'm outta there!)
